Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) at DillySocks

Our Understanding of Responsible Business Conduct

DillySocks AG is committed to responsible, transparent, and sustainable business conduct throughout its entire value chain. Our approach is based on international standards and considers the social, ecological, and ethical aspects of our business activities.

Our Responsible Business Conduct principles apply to our own business operations as well as to our supply chain.

Human Rights & Social Responsibility

We respect and promote internationally recognized human rights. Our principles are based, among others, on the ILO core labor standards and the OECD Guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct.

In particular, we are committed to:

  • fair working conditions
  • the prohibition of child and forced labor
  • equal treatment and non-discrimination
  • freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
  • safe and healthy working conditions

These requirements are laid down in our Code of Conduct and form the basis for our business conduct as well as for collaboration with employees and production partners.

Environmental Responsibility

The responsible use of natural resources is a central component of our corporate philosophy. We pay attention to environmentally friendly processes and materials and continuously work to minimize negative environmental impacts.

Key aspects of our environmental responsibility include:

  • the use of organic cotton
  • environmentally conscious packaging solutions (e.g., FSC-certified materials)
  • the reduction of waste and packaging volume

Due Diligence

DillySocks AG pursues a risk-based approach to corporate due diligence. The goal is to identify, prevent, or mitigate actual or potential negative impacts of our business activities at an early stage.

Our due diligence approach includes, among other things:

  • the identification and assessment of risks in the supply chain
  • preventive and corrective measures
  • the verification of the effectiveness of these measures
  • the continuous development of our processes

The formal basis for this is our Due Diligence Policy.

Supply Chain & Traceability

DillySocks AG works exclusively with GOTS-certified production partners.
During the order and production process, it is ensured that no conventional cotton is used, but exclusively organic cotton.

The depth of traceability is designed to be product and risk-based:

  • For GOTS-certified products, traceability is carried out via the GOTS system and Transaction Certificates.
  • For products outside the GOTS scope, traceability extends to the level of direct production facilities. Here too, the social, ecological, and ethical principles anchored in the company, as per the Code of Conduct and Due Diligence Policy, apply.

Monitoring & Development

Compliance with our requirements is regularly checked, among other things, by:

  • external certification and audit processes (GOTS)
  • internal document and plausibility checks
  • continuous exchange with our production partners

As part of the further development of our due diligence approach, we are also examining how to further strengthen existing processes for supply chain oversight in the future through supplementary external monitoring or audit approaches.

Communication & Feedback

We take questions or feedback on our social, environmental, or ethical standards seriously. Feedback from customers, business partners, or other stakeholders is incorporated into the further development of our processes, where relevant.
